Since 1981, Government Polytechnic College, Muttom has been a pillar of technical education, fostering academic excellence and innovation. We offer 3-year diploma courses in engineering and technology, with initial branches in civil, mechanical, and electrical and electronics engineering. In 1990, we expanded to a new campus, adding Computer Engineering and Electronics Engineering to our offerings.
Our 22-acre modern campus comprises two academic blocks, four workshop and lab blocks, men’s and ladies’ hostels, a canteen, and a unique stadium with a 400m track in Idukki district. Our focus on practical learning equips students with real-world skills using state-of-the-art facilities.
